Jetstar Airways bans vapes (electronic cigarettes) on international flights.
According to international aviation regulations, flammable and explosive items, such as vapes (electronic cigarettes), cigarettes, matches and lighters, are prohibited from being carried and used.
Oxygen and smoke detectors on airplanes are prone to malfunction due to vaping, so vaping is strictly prohibited on airplanes, and violators will bear legal liability.
Since both disposable and refillable vapes contain batteries, they must be stored in carry-on luggage.
Since vapor cigarettes contain aerosols, e-liquids and other substances, Jetstar Airlines also stipulates certain restrictions on liquids, aerosols and gels.
