The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may remove your e-cigarette from your carry-on luggage.
TSA stipulates that liquids, gels and aerosols (such as e-cigarettes and e-liquids) must meet air transportation security requirements. This means that if your e-cigarette or e-liquid is deemed not to meet aviation security standards, the TSA may remove it from your carry-on bag or prohibit you from taking it through security.
If you are carrying e-cigarettes or e-liquids, it is recommended that you put them in your checked luggage and make sure they comply with TSA regulations. If you're not sure whether you can bring e-cigarettes or e-liquids, ask a TSA agent before going through security.
